In his forthcoming book "The Next American Economy," Samuel Gregg makes the case for free market economics in light of distinctively American liberal values. The first section critiques corporate capitalism, in which the government imposes extensive top-down interventions into the economy (such as tariffs and industrial policy). The second section states an alternative to corporate capitalism, which is a free market entrepreneurialism rooted in America's unique history and tradition.
