In “Tell Your Children: The Truth About Marijuana, Mental Illness, and Violence,” Alex Berensonwarns that the chemical in marijuana that causes one to “get high,” 9-tetrahdrocannabinol, commonly called THC, can cause psychotic episodes that can end in violence.
