I used to read a book a week, now I'm lucky if I read a book a month. I miss it, but I'm also not making time for it. Is it me or the books?

But Virginia Woolf's opinion notwithstanding ("The only advice that one person can give another about reading is to take no advice"), I can't resist adding, Don't beat yourself up for not reading enough. Reading isn't a debt or a duty. Nor does reading less now mean your habits won't change again. If you miss the fervor and delight of reading, that's a real loss. But maybe you just think you should miss reading because you believe reading is good for you, like vegetables.
